Hello everyone, back from a short holiday in Penang, went there and came back by plane (Singapore Airlines).

First of all, went to Changi Airport Terminal 2, and had lunch at the food court there. Watched Huo Yan Jia with the mini DVD player I brought. I then boarded the plane. The experience was great. When taking off, the plane accelerates at such a high speed that you are pushed back into your seat ( You probably know that). The flight to Penang was extremely fast, taking only 1 hour +. The journey, however, was terrible. I had a runny nose, the air pressure was causing 'blocked ears', and the landing felt like a roller coaster ride. The 'blocked ears' continued all the way from Penang International Airport all the way to dinner time. I ate the Penang Char Kway Teow, quite nice, but portion was too small. As it cost RM 2.50 ( About $1.25 Sg Dollar), what can you expect? After dinner, I went to Holiday Inn, the hotel where I stayed. At night, went to the Pasar Malam, bought 3 DVDs, Cars, X-Men III, and Mission Impossible III. The next day was fun. Crossed Penang Bridge, 3rd longest in the world, and went to Pearl Island Country Club. The place was so poorly maintaned, the Swimming Pool was dirty, the carpark had a light that was dangling down dangerously, and the facilities were deserted. But the toilets were amazingly well-maintained and so was the Gym.

The next day was time to visit places. Visited the Penang Hill, quite high, above 700m, and Kek Lok Si, one of the largest temples in South-East Asia. Pics will come.

The Holiday Inn hotel was filled with people from around the world. British, American, Australian, Middle Eastern, Korean, Taiwanese, and even Ethiopian tourists could be found.

The last day of the holiday was relaxing. Visited Monkey Island before heading to Penang International Airport in a Toyota Mark II. Then it was fun getting in the plane, and eating the nice bun they gave. I played the video games on board the plane. Primitive games, but they provide you with old-style entertainment from the 90's. Hardly any modern games can match that.

Pics of my entire holiday will come soon, and expect tons of them.
