So this is my first post ever since JC life started, and my first (and probably last) post for the month.

Life has been good so far. Disregarding academic stress (which is mounting, and while it is nothing compared to O level stress as of now, it will not be long before it exceeds the O level degree of stress to the extent that the O levels will seem like the PSLE), JC life has been pleasant. Canteen food is good, I've joined a CCA I like very much, there is air con in all the venues of the lessons, and there is still the familiar Bishan skyline, from certain parts of the school. What more could I want?

That said, while I am settling into the mugging mood already, I still have vestiges of the holiday syndrome, particularly when I see the poly people, rather unbelievably, still having their break (which seriously makes me really want to go be a poly student right now). I still wish I could turn back the clock to 9am, 13 November 2009. It seems like an eternity between that date and now. When I look at the calendar, I realise that our O level break was actually very short.

Ah well. Won't be long before everything gets back to normal. I remember the first month or so of Sec 1 was equally challenging, when you had to realise the reality of the fact that your PSLE break was over.

All the best, everyone! And Happy Chinese New Year too. Singapore should make all the 15 days of CNY public holidays la.
