Ah! I have finally managed to create an unscrewed blog with a new skin! Now I know how to change skins. But of course, this blog's skin will not be changed. It is so user-friendly. The blog is http://portauprince.blogspot.com. Check it out.

I just watched 'Dragon Tiger Gate' (Long Hu Men) yesterday. It's a fantastic movie, you should watch it.

Expect exciting comedies on my blog by next week, the videos might come out!

Today was an EXTREMELY eventful day, and this post is going to be a little longer.

First, TAF. Today I was slacking, haha. During PE I actually wanted to complete my 2.4 km, but Si Hua was not doing it, I told Mr Chew, he said, ''Okay, Ivan, join Edward house and play soccer.'' Good. But I had just had newfound stamina. I discovered a revolutionary way of running without wasting energy. It was amazing, I did 2 rounds pretty quickly and yet I was not out of breath. During the next 2.4 I will run that way. It looks like a cross between chicken and gay running, it may look peculiar, but it saves your energy.

Next, after school, Zhen Kai took my bag and put it near the stairs, and Jiawei, Bryan Ching, and Leonard Lim kicked it down like a soccer ball. I was not happy and when I took back my bag, all four of them came at me and Jiawei snatched by plastic bag of clothes. The pants came out and and Zhen Kai took it and ran. I was pissed. And I was mad. I took Zhen Kai's ball as a 'deposit'. Somehow the ball was in Bryan Ching's hands shortly after, but I was not interested in that, Zhen Kai had grabbed the pants and was escaping. I cornered him and pushed him against the wall. I think I really seemed like a gangster and bully, people who did not see what had happened before that would think I am the bully, when actually, I am the bullied. Great, Mr Chris Teng saw that, but I released my grip, and Mr Teng had heard the conversation. So he commented, I did not hear what he said, but it was probably something like, ''You guys are crazy, what are you doing.'' Never mind that.

Wushu training today was extremely special, and it was the most fun Wushu training session so far. What happened?

I'll talk about the not so important things first. I went armwrestling and beat most of them. One after another, I won, winning many Sec 2s and even one Sec 3. But when I went against Soo Yong, one of the strongest guys in Wushu, I lost, of course! I managed to put up a good fight though, managing to prevent him from pushing my hand to the ground and letting him win for quite a while. My hand was tired out like mad at that time. Yet I challenged another Sec 3 and was beaten soundly, but of course I would lose, I had just went for 10+ armwrestling matches, my hand was damn tired. Next time I would challenge them straight away and not armwrestle before that, so that I would not tire out my hand.

Okay, the good thing. Today was SanDa! What exactly is it? If you check Wikipedia, you would find out that Wushu has two parts - Taolu, and Sanda. Taolu is simply memorising a series of attacks. What matters is making it look good, look Mei Li. But in a real self-defense situation, the attacks are very impractical. Sanda is real time fighting. Damn shiok today. Sanda with Brian Wong, Ho Zhen Shen, this Sec 2 guy, and even Chun Kiat. The instructor never told us to do it, but we did it. Sanda both armed and unarmed. Unarmed fighting with Brian Wong was good, but he said I should attack more and not just block his attacks. Armed fighting was better. Used sabre, sword, pole, spear, dagger, and even the red Modern Dance stick (Wushu took place at the Modern Dance Studio because Sec Sch Hall occupied (O level) and Pri Sch Hall was occupied (PSLE). So went to MD Studio.) It was damn fun with Zhen Shen, he was taking double sword, Chun Kiat took the broom, Brian Wong took the red stick. Damn fun fighting. Brian Wong's attacks came fast and furious, I blocked, then it was my turn. Very fun, not fought for a long time. But after a while Brian Wong told us to stop as Sanda was not part of the school's Wushu curriculum. I listen to him, but the truth is, Wushu IS fighting. It originated as fighting, a martial art, and it should stay that way. Sadly, modern Wushu focuses on performance and not application. Brian Wong said that when we were Sanda-ing, it would be considered as fighting in school since it was not part of the curriculum. But still, it was a very fun experience, the next time we Sanda again I will take a video and upload it asap, it is damn funny but yet it is good exercise. Sorry Modern Dance, we took the dustbin and brooms to Sanda as well as Wushu did not have enough weapons. While keeping the weapons in the games equipment room, Zhen Shen and I had another round if Sanda. This time it was much more rough. I used twin sabres and he used twin poles. The sabres made a lot of satisfying 'cling clang' noises when smashed against the poles, but that is the way it is supposed to be used. It was very fun until the cleaning auntie came and opened the door for us to put the weapons in the room. The fun had ended. But I certainly look forward to more Sanda-ing on Monday. Fun!

Today's play in the morning was pretty good, was it not?
How about the Mathematics Common Test? I think it was quite easy but it was tricky, too.

Now, Si Hua is looking at TAF the way I looked at it 6 months ago. When I heard that I had to go for TAF, my first reaction was, ''Why? I can just choose not to eat during TAF, why do all the stupid exercises?'' As time went by, I began to get used to TAF. In the beginning, I tried to skip TAF but Si Hua played the 'policeman', always catching me. Now, I'M the policeman. Now Si Hua wants to play soccer with the majority of the class and not go for TAF. I think that's fine, because he's not eating or at the lounge, he is playing soccer, and playing soccer is a very high-intensity activity. It can be more effective than TAF. I'm thinking of joining. But wait. Mr Chew dosen't allow this. In fact, all the TAF teachers disallow it. I don't understand why, they're being to straight, they should be more flexible. Mr Goh Yong Han, always targeting me for not running. I mean, I can run, 400m in 1 min 35 seconds, but I can't do it for long. Okay, maybe we don't run, perhaps we do sit-ups. But that would make it to boring . TAF is already boring, so that explains why TAF skippers are on the rise. Heck about TAF, no one really cares, and if we don't care about our weight, I don't see why the school must care. Of course, if you're like Joseph Leong you seriously need to shed some weight.

I'm getting sick of Hui Young, he inserts his finger into people's anuses, and he still laughs. He did that to me during morning assembly. I hit him and Mrs Tham saw that. She called both of us out. I wanted to complain that Hui Young had done some anus-finger-inserting + wriggling but I can't say to Mrs Tham, ''Mrs Tham, Hui Young had inserted his finger into my anus.'' That would be SENSELESS. So I kept quiet about it and it made me seem like the bad guy. The next time Hui Young does it, I would not hesitate to attack him. That fool.

Another guy is Chun Kiat. We got into MAJOR quarrel on Monday, I am sick of that guy, it's already 1 month + and he is still slacking at Wushu. It is funny at first but over time it is irritating to see some idiot slacking. And he always wants a lift from me, and that's the very reason he joined Wushu of all CCAs when he quit the choir. If that's the reason why he joined WS then his mindset is wrong and he won't go far. Also, his friggin problems become my problems, when he did not have the black pants he asked his mother, his mother asked my mother, and my mother asked me. That's none of my business, he will have to find some way to get them. Anyway I also cannot help even if I want to because I don't know the address, and I'm not going to ask my seniors because Chun Kiat should be the one doing it since HE is the one who needs the pants. Don't you all agree? Also, I'd like to comment his mother can be quite kaypoh and when CK and I get into quarrels, he takes it personally while I ignore his insults. He then goes home and complains to his mother. Sick. Bo Li Xin is the perfect phrase to describe him.

At the same time, do vote at the polls of my blog if you haven't. Bye.

09 August, 2006

Sorry, not updated for quite a while. It's National Day everyone! How did you find the parade? Great? I think it is better to stay at home and watch the parade on TV. You can watch it, and see close-ups. It also allows you to watch the parade in the comfort of your own home. However, going to the stadium and watching it is the only way to get the feel, the atmosphere. Speaking of the stadium, it is the last time the National Day parade is held at the National Stadium. Say goodbye to it everyone. This year's parade felt very short, don't you agree?

For homework, there are 2 Higher Chinese Compos, 9a-9d Textbook for Mathematics, Chemistry Project for Science, and nothing else. I have something extra - punishment essays for not getting parent's signature for the spelling test. Shit, I did not leave lines, Mrs Tham will minus 5 marks, I can only get 5. I would have gotten full marks if I left lines. Damn it, 5 marks just wasted like that.

Who is in Group C? I got some news for you, I'm joining that group. Group B can say hi to Colin, while Group A will get Hui Young. (Chemistry Project). Too bad for you guys. Idiotic Leonard, he left the group in the state that it is in now.

What do you people think of the fighting videos? I got nothing else to put. Too many music videos, and it gets boring.

I don't know why so many people are against the CCA poll, I mean, I should be the one complaining about it, Wushu got the most votes. It degrades the Wushu CCA the most. It does not degrade the uniformed groups much, but since it is so unpopular, I have removed it.

Plz vote at the polls and leave messages on the Cbox. Don't let the blog sleep, thx!

03 August, 2006

Ah isn't everyone happy? Common test is over! Time to update this blog. It has been sleeping for quite a while...

Okay, major news in class? Oh yes, the Science Practical! Ms Qiu Yiru was DAMN pissed with the class, saying that we were making too much noise. Apart from that, my group (Me, Weiyang, Zi Xin) got blasted by her. Damn! I forgot to go and hand in that tiny sheet of paper, the one with the Bio Journal Marks! Shit! Tomorrow I have to hand it in.

Chemistry Project? I can't be more unlucky. As usual, stuck with eccentric Colin and gay Hui Young. Leonard was supposed to be in my group but quit and claimed that 'Ms Qiu allowed it'. Never mind, somebody is gonna come along and take his place. Who? There aren't any other funny people in class. Maybe Wesley, but I doubt he will take over Leonard's place. Tomorrow I will know. Anyway, I have already got used to Colin's behavior and learnt to ignore it. Hui Young is still as gay as ever, but, when he is angry, he dosen't behave like one, which is a relief. In fact, I'd rather Hui Young be some moody freak than be the gay he is now, touching butts.

I have to do the Chemistry Project, polish up my Bio Journal, and do some more shit. Bye.
